Our success at Sebastiani’s comes from our wonderful customers, and now it’s time to celebrate once more with the opening of our new international wine bar.
Located next to our lovely bistro, Sebastiani’s Wine Bar is a space to explore a number of showcase wines from California, South America and the rest of the world.
I’m very excited about our new menu of tapas and empanadas. These delicate treats are a staple of South American cuisine, taking me back to kitchen of my childhood in Lima.
We’ve worked hard to discover news ways to pair these dishes with our boutique wine selection. Here’s what I’ve found:
Beef empanadas are an excellent compliment to Pinot Noir. It’s easy to taste how the spiciness matches the lightness of this soft red varietal.
Our crab-filled baked mushrooms go great with Sauvignon Blanc. Or try them stuffed with sausage, mozzarella and bell pepper. I have this crisp Dry Riesling that really snaps from their flavor. I’d love to have you try it.
Most versatile is the crostini with tomato relish, capers, black olives, basil and oil. It goes well with any type of red wine. For our Pinot Grigio, we created a salmon and goat cheese crostini; it’s creaminess melds well with the softness of the grape.
Whatever you choose, our appetizer menu and wine selection allows you to eat at your own pace. Our performance space showcases some of the area’s best artists and instrumentalists playing live music every Friday and Saturday.
There’s so much more I want to tell you about. Let’s talk soon. Come in and visit.
As always, be well
